Our flatmate and friend had his bike stolen yesterday. The day after buying it.
He uses this bike to get to work, where all of his earnings go to support his family.
As a financially struggling first year University student who has the responsiblity of looking after his family, losing his bike is detremental both to his family and his own wellbeing.
We will use these funds in order to finance a brand new bike for our friend to give him peace of mind so that he can continue to go to work and support his family.
