My son works nights at St Charles Hospital in Bend Oregon. He does not drive and up until last week his mode of transportation has been his shoes. He saved for quite some time to get an electric bike. Had it less than a week and some scumbag stole it. He had it locked up properly to the provided bike racks in front of the Heart Center. There is nowhere inside for them to lock up bikes. Really sucks. He was so excited to have an easier method to get to and from work.

Yes he’s reported it to hospital security and filed a police report.

There are cameras in that area but who knows if they will see anything or if they were even working.
