Help Replace Stolen Belongings for Jonny Reid

Hi, my name is Lauren and I’m fundraising for our dear friend, Jonny, who was recently a victim of theft while working abroad in the U.S. Countless valuable items, including his computer, camera equipment, backup hard drives and passport, were stolen.

Jonny, a marine biologist and incredible photographer, is originally from the UK, but was conducting fieldwork with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in the U.S. when his belongings were stolen.

While we’re incredibly grateful that he’s safe, the emotional and financial impact of this loss is overwhelming. The stolen items included not only the tools he relies on for his work, but also countless irreplaceable memories captured in photos and videos. Unfortunately, insurance will not cover any of the losses.

Jonny is one of the most genuine and kind people I know. While he would not ask for help, we are raising funds to help him replace his essential gear and get him back on his feet while he continues to work abroad in the U.S.
