Hi everyone,
We’re reaching out with a hopeful request for support for Ferry Boat Arts, a small community arts charity that provides inclusive creative workshops, wellbeing art activities, and nature-based learning for children and adults across Neath Port Talbot and Swansea.
Recently, a large tree branch suddenly fell and crashed through the roof of the caravan used for workshops. The impact broke a window, damaged the roof, and left the space unsafe and unusable. Sadly, some of the art materials stored inside were also ruined due to the damage and exposure.
This caravan isn’t just a vehicle — it’s a vital creative space. It’s where workshops are prepared, materials are stored, and sessions are delivered. It plays a key role in allowing Ferry Boat Arts to bring creativity, confidence-building activities, and community connection to local people.
We are aiming to raise £200 to help cover:
-Repairing the damaged roof
-Replacing the broken window
-Replacing ruined art materials and supplies
-Making the space safe and usable again
Every donation — whether it’s £5, £10, or more — will go directly toward repairing this workshop space so that Ferry Boat Arts can continue bringing creative activities and wellbeing support to the community. If you’re not able to donate, sharing this fundraiser with friends and family would mean a lot.
This charity puts art, creativity, and inclusive activities at the heart of community wellbeing — and now, the community can help them in return. Thank you for being part of this effort and for supporting art and connection in South Wales.
With deep gratitude,
Ferry Boat Arts ⛵️
