Help Repair Howies Scooter

Donation protected

Howie Allen is a Saanich man who overcame a crippling stroke and the death of his son to volunteer his time at the Royal Oak Burial park cleaning headstones.

Howie's story was on the news in 2013 and touched people all over Canada who wrote letters and sent trinkets of appreciation.
It was then he was generously donated a scooter by Vancouver Island Medical Supply 5 years ago.
Because of the way he received it, Howies scooter has very special meaning to him and he could never let it go even if it never ran again.

As Howie has said, "this scooter is part of my son's story"

Howie's scooter has been all over Victoria and is now in need of some repairs. Van Island Medical Supply has offered to cover the cost of labour. This fundraiser is to help Howie with the rest of the repair (replacement parts).
Let's help Howie save his scooter and ride again!
