Midwestern Christian Academy has been providing a Christ-focused, Biblically-centered education to meet the needs of families in Chicago for over 65 years! Our school is one of very few Christian schools in the city of Chicago. We have a heart to provide the very best we can for Christian families. While we place high value on education, we also value athletics, arts, and ministry. Our gymnasium is outdated and not suitable for the electives we offer our students!
During this past school year, 2020-21, the decision was made to improve the gymnasium facility for student use in physical education, music and band classes, for interscholastic athletic activities and for the church’s use in community ministry and outreach! As we are associated with Midwest Bible Church, our gym will be used for Kingdom work too!
What the renovation will give our students & community:
-Physical Educational use
-Band room
-Music room
-The opportunity to engage in interscholastic sports activities such as Basketball and Volleyball
-Seating areas for both home and away teams' supporters
-Fellowship room for Anchor Youth Ministry
-Weight room with full equipment
-Installation of new heating and cooling systems
-A new kitchen including a concession window
-New durable sports court flooring
Midwest Bible Church, along with other donors, have agreed to match up to $75,000! That means if we reach our goal of fundraising $75,000, they will provide an additional $75,000 towards the gym! Every dollar is another dollar!
