Help release Mario from detention

Donation protected
On Tuesday, November 24, 2020 ICE was outside of my brothers apartment and took him from his home. He is now in Kandiyohi county jail trying to fight to stay in the country with my sister in law and their children.

We are extremely concerned for his health since he was a victim of a horrible shooting that almost took his life last year. To this day, he was still trying to recover from all the physical damage his body endured. Our family was just starting to get back on our feet. His children were still recovering from all the trauma of almost losing their Dad and now  they don't have their father with them.
He needs medication and physiological support.

During this pandemic, jails don't have the best practices for COVID and we need him home with our family so we can keep taking care of him.
Our whole family has suffered so much trauma because this isn’t the first time we are struggling from immigration and customs enforcement separating us.

At this point my brother wants to keep fighting to stay with his family and we don’t want to give up on having him home. His children need him here.
We’re asking for support because he was the main breadwinner in the family and now my nieces and nephews have to spend the Holidays without their Dad.

We know this will be a long fight and unfortunately he was not eligible for an immigration bond. There will be additional attorney and USCIS fees to  fight to keep him in the country. For now,  the $30,000 will help pay for the  following:

Attorney fees
Rent and Bills
Health Insurance
Groceries
Costs to be able to communicate with Mario.

Aside from your monetary contribution we ask you pray for our family to get through this and for all the families in similar situations.
