Help Refugee Kids Stay Warm This Winter

بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

As-Salamu ‘alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu. In Shaa Allah this msg finds you and your loved ones in good health and the highest of imaan.

This is a blessed opportunity from Allah عزَّوجَلََّّ to help our ummah, children who suffered horrible conditions before they got to Houston. Alhamdulillah, even though they are living peacefully, they still have other difficulties to face. Those families are struggling a lot.

As winter will start soon, a lot of these children will have their first winter in Houston. They don't have appropriate clothes to wear for school. So many of them will end up wearing summer clothes to school like last winter. So let's make a difference for them. Let's at least give them a new jacket they can wear to school. These children came from war-torn countries such as Syria, Afghanistan, Palestine, and Yemen. Your generous support can make a significant difference in helping these newcomers feel at home again.

Let's show them that we care about them. A humble request: please do contribute towards this project. Every little bit helps. Let's be the ones who will put a smile on a child's face as they will not feel the cold this coming winter.

On the authority of Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) who said,

” Whoever relieves a believer’s distress of the distressful aspects of this world, Allah will rescue him from a difficulty of the difficulties of the Hereafter.”
