Help Refugee Children of War in Ukraine

This page is dedicated to raise urgent funds to support the most vulnerable Ukrainian civilians in Ukraine & the Ukrainian refugees of war, especially women and children currently flooding towards Lviv, Western Ukraine and into Poland.

 

People leaving their homes taking the absolute necessities and whatever they can carry with them. With their young children, elderly and pets they cross the country to get to relative safety in the Western Region.

 

While the entire country is under severe military attacks, mass arrivals to Lviv does not guarantee security or safety (just "safer for now"). However humanitarian agencies there work with the local municipalities and run the refugees reception. Centers where the registration of incoming refugees is done. From their the newcomers are directed to the available homes of local citizens that welcome refugees in their own homes, and to the make shift refugees centers too. In addition, people are given food and daily alliances of formula, diapers, sleeping bags, clothes etc. No one is left behind.

 

Bomb shelters are also being equipped to sustain hundreds and thousands of people. Dry rations, sleeping bags, drinking water etc are being brought in.

 

This is the biggest refugee crisis within Eurpoe since the WWII and my homeland Ukraine stands united. People are helping people.

 

The proceeds of this fundraiser will be send to the incredible agency called Between Us, working in Lviv. I personally visited and worked with them just 4 months ago. I was blown away by the dedication of all employees to their work. Many are giving up large part of their own salary to help those in dire situations. But they have families to feed ans thus, have limits.

The proceeds will also be going towards several other vital projects & agencies I perosnaly visited and vetted during my 7 weeks work in Ukraine during the war.
*March of Women - team working to support minorities, disabled, women and LGBT communities. 
*Public Organization called Volunteer Kurin, that is busy delivering urgent aid to the most dangerous regions of active battles since 2014.
*Greater Grace Church, turned humanitarian aid center, the member of which are taking in refigees, regardless of faith, providing urgent housing and aid to the refugees from the Easteen parts in Lviv, assist with evacuating the refigees to othzr countries, and deliver aid to the most vulnerable in the Eastern Regions.
*Lviv's Beis Aharon V'Yisrael Synagogue - the Synagogue that is lead by Rabbi and his family has now been turned into medical aid distribution center, as well as hole for 100s of refigees regarding of faith.  They supply most of the hospitals in.the region with medical supplies, medicines, as well as deliver food, baby items and food and other necessities around the country to all affected people regardless the faith. As Rabbi told me "your faith is tested in your service to all humanity, this is our duty". 

I chose the latest few organizations as I have visited and worked wirh them perosnaly during rhe war, and habe seen first hand the incredible impact they arz providing to thz country. 

 

I ask everyone to help with anything you can afford. I am sending our own personal savings of $5000US to the efforts in Lviv. My Mom donated 2 months of her pension and my 6 years old daughter insisted on donating her entire piggy bank ($71) towards the assistance.
