My brother, Reese Newman, recently experienced a devastating apartment fire that destroyed everything he owned. Reese managed to escape with only the clothes he was wearing and his flip flops, but thankfully he was able to rescue his two beloved cats. Now, Reese and his cats are safe, but they have nowhere to live and have lost all their possessions—clothes, computer, TV, books, kitchen equipment, and more. The loss has been overwhelming, especially since Reese did not have renters insurance and couldn't afford it, making it impossible for him to recover what was lost on his own.

The funds raised will go directly toward replacing essential items, finding temporary housing for Reese and his cats, and helping them regain some stability.
