<div>Hi, my name is Andrea and I am fundraising for my son Reed. Reed was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma in March 2023. This is a form of bone cancer, that started in his right hip socket area. Reed is my 21-year-old son who has had to put his life on hold so that we can get him better. Reed has been currently doing a very aggressive Chemotherapy regimen at St. Vincent Cancer Center locally and will continue his care at MD Anderson in Houston Texas. He has a wonderful team of Physicians. His MD Anderson team includes his Orthopedic Oncologist, Surgeon, Radiologist, and numerous other specialty Physicians. We had to travel to Houston to find these highly trained and specialized Physicians. He will plan on having Surgery in Houston and he will be in the hospital for quite some time recovering and getting back on his feet. Reed has had to travel numerous times back and forth from Evansville to Houston. Reed has not been able to work during this time due to the location of the tumor. He loves his job and the wonderful people that he works with, I know that it bothers him not being able to work. We are helping Reed in every possible way we can as most parents would do. We are asking for help with travel expenses including airfare, food, gas, and lodging. I know that every little bit helps. We have a wonderful network of friends and family, that have been a tremendous support group. As we continue on this journey we ask for your continued prayers and appreciate all the wonderful things that everyone has done to help.
