RED RESCUE ALERT: SAVING MATHEW AND LITTLE TINLEY
SAVING MATHEW: STATUS URGENT: Some souls shine bright even when they are lost in the darkest storms. We still see neglect that leaves us stunned even after years of seeing human failure. RED has received a plea to help save the life of a sweet soul whose kindness shines past the neglect and medical needs he so desperately needs our help with. He was found in the pouring rain exhausted and in pain leaning on a pole to support his frail body. Someone had set some fast food in front of him which he was too sick to eat. He was pretty much the picture of the saddest dog ever. He has received basic care to become stable for transport to rescue where he can recover. The black you see on him after his hair was shaved is fleas and his one eye was basically rotting. His eye is not savable and he has a wonky head tilt that needs to be addressed as soon as he gets here. I cannot imagine the mental and physical pain horror this little guy has endured for his 4 years of life. Imagine an eye issue so bad your eye degrades to this and having that many bugs crawling on you and biting you. His head tilt kind of adds to his adorable quirkiness but we hope it can be resolved for him with the gift of strong medical support and time. The staff at our shelter rescue partner has named him Mathew. Through all of this Mathew has won the hearts of all her has met and they are praying for him to get here ASAP. The photo of him seeking love with a volunteer is profound. He has no reason to still trust people but there it is. Love to give for some souls is unbreakable. The shelter is full to capacity and he must move to Rescue Every Dog now. Here he will have time and resources to recover and then be adopted to his carefully matched forever home. LITTLE TINLEY: STATUS URGENT She must move to RED this week:
We named her Tinley and that means enlightened activity in Tibetan. We are looking for sponsors, foster, or an adopter for Tinley. She is an 8 to 10 year old Tibetan Spaniel. She arrived at arrived at a shelter in sad shape. This little lady should have always lived like a princess but she has spent years being neglected. She has been provided first step medical care and is feeling so much better as she had an ulcerated eye that had to be removed. She needs our help no to get in to a Rescue Every Dog rescue spot and heal and find a forever home. She must come to rescue to get a chance at life. She is at one of our shelter rescue partners and they are full to capacity.
