<div>I’m running this as an individual who is a resident and also Executive Director of Red Hook Business Alliance which supports businesses, nonprofits, artists, freelancers and home-based businesses in Red Hook. I was on scene overnight and started this go fund me so it could be distributed as part of the immediate news coverage.

<div>Brooklyn Community Foundation d/b/a Brooklyn Org will act as the fiscal sponsor for this fundraiser and will disburse donations directly to identified grantees who were affected by the Red Hook fires. All funds raised will be deposited into a segregated account at Brooklyn Org to ensure proper financial oversight and transparency. Donations will be distributed according to formal award letters that document each grant and its purpose.

<div>The goal of this fundraiser is to provide direct relief and support to individuals and families impacted by the fires in the Red Hook community. Brooklyn Org has longstanding relationships with local organizations and community leaders in Red Hook, which allows us to identify those most in need and ensure funds are used effectively and equitably.
