Help recovery from hurricanes

Well friends, classmates and colleagues, hurricanes Irma and María, along with and assortment of tropical storms and squalls hace really done a number on my family and I.

Property damages, blown generators, ruined clothing furnishings and important or sentimental items, you name it, it likely happened. And we're still not done because there is pretty much no electricity nor communications (I'm writing from the veterans administration hospital un San Juan which has intermittent Internet), lines to make lines for everything from food and water to fuel and cash, ok water delivery to homes, lousy medical services.

We really don't know what or when insurance will cover nor how much FEMA will be able to help.

Hence, I'm swallowing muy pride here and asking for help. The $95k number I plugged in here is really a guess. We won't really know for months what the true impact will be so, of course, any and all help is appretiated. I just ask that what ever you are able to give, tack on an additional 10% to cover the gofundme and banking fees and commission.
