<div>Wow, I have never had to do one of these before, so this absolutely feels weird to me. As some of you already know I have been going through a lot not only the past weekend, but the past two years. I had a hyundai vehicle that started to get messed with due to a trend on tiktok that showed the faults of the security system and have had two attempted thefts. This past weekend, it was finally stolen and found in Oakland stripped, even after getting a supposed "update" that should have prevented this.

<div>This is not only just a car to me, but also how I run my business. It is directly connected to my livelihood and unfortunately it was just honest terrible luck. I still owe $6k plus on the vehicle and car prices have skyrocketed since the pandemic and have not truly come down very much. So even with a new used vehicle, I will be looking at a pretty large bill.

<div>I am not asking for an entire brand new car, but I am hoping to fundraise enough money to cover the remaining cost of my vehicle as well as provide a decent down payment for the next one. My insurance is most likely going to give me a payout, but as we all know they might try to find loopholes to give me the worst payment possible. And if that isn't the case, it will still take a long time and I need to get a new car situated asap. This money will not only go to vehicle expenses, but also to help me with the cost of replacing all of my work equipment, hotels and travel cost outside of the bay where I can most likely get a better deal and any other expenses in the meantime outside of the reach of my insurance.

<div>I have full coverage but let me tell you now from previous experience that it still only goes so far. I wish we had a better system, I wish people were not living in such desperation that they felt the need to steal my car for easy money, but here we are. This is truly a mishap that came from a system that is flawed, but I am doing the best I can with what I have. <div>I am so grateful for the response this has received! It is beautiful to see the response of the community in action, this truly made me cry happy tears for once during such a difficult time. I actually feel hopeful again and it feels good.

<div>  I bought all new work equipment and have been paying for a rental, my insurance helped with some of the cost, but limited since they think everyone will suffice with a mini compact, but I needed something larger for work. We are currently looking at cars now and should be able to go shopping next week. After seeing my car trashed and smelling like a homeless encampment it will be nice to get something fresh and just move forward from this painful saga. Thank you for helping me get back on my feet, I'm grateful to still be able to pay for rent, basic bills and food, but this particular assistance will help me stay out of some serious debt.
