Help restore the old Red Mill Bridgewater

On the night of September 1, 2021, the Old Red Mill in Bridgewater, Connecticut sustained major damage from flooding that occurred when Bridgewater received torrential rainfall from the remnants of hurricane Ida. This campaign is for the purpose of repairing the damages done to the exterior of the Mill, including rebuilding a 60 foot water flume, repairs to the 16 foot water wheel and to the Wewaka Brook Dam, along with 50 feet of retaining wall to help prevent a future catastrophe.
The Red Mill was built in 1796, and for 225 years, it has withstood many weather events, but another flood like the one on September 1st could destroy the building. Hopefully, with some preventative measures, the Mill will be standing for many more years as part of our town's history. Please help us to restore the Red Mill. Thank you!
