Help Rebuild the Magalia Depot

Donation protected
On Tuesday, June 13, 2017 a Magalia, California historical landmark went up in flames.  Owners John and Julie Clifford spent over 5 years lovingly restoring the now 113 year old train station, and turned it into a restaurant.  The fire has been devastating, not only causing severe damage to the historic building, its equipment and supplies, but also displacing their loyal employees. The owners did have insurance, but in addition to repairing the damage caused by the fire; the owners will now be forced to bring the entire building up to current California Codes. Led paint has been found on the exterior, and will probably leed to the entire outside of the building being removed. Even though these repairs are included in the policy, the overall limit on the policy will not be enough to finish the repairs.  Please help restore the building and perserve a piece of local history .   Thank you!!
