<div><strong>Apoiar as vítimas da Depressão Kristin (English verison below)</strong>
</div>
</div>
<div>Casas ficaram destruídas ou inabitáveis. Escolas, empresas, mercados locais e produções hortícolas sofreram danos significativos.
</div>
</div>
</div>
<ul>
<li>Reconstrução e recuperação de pequenas habitações
</li>
</li>
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Como podes ajudar</strong>
</div>
<div>Donativos monetários
</div>
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>Donativos em espécie (in-kind)</strong>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

<div><br />
</div>

</div>
<div>Para concretizar este objetivo, estamos a trabalhar em parceria direta com a associação portuguesa Just a Change (<a href="https://justachange.pt/en/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><a href="https://justachange.pt/en/" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://justachange.pt/en/</a></a>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>

<div><strong>Supporting the Victims of Storm Kristin</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Storm Kristin has left a trail of destruction across several regions of the country, particularly in Nazare, Leiria, Marinha Grande, Ferreira do Zêzere, and Ourém.
</div>
<div>Homes have been destroyed or left uninhabitable. Schools, businesses, local markets, and agricultural production have suffered significant damage.
</div>
<div>Many people have lost their homes, their jobs, or their main source of income — some of them already in socially vulnerable situations, now even more at risk.
</div>
<div>This fundraising initiative aims to directly support the victims, specifically through:
</div>
<ul>
<li>Rebuilding and repairing small homes
</li>
<li>Supporting individuals and families in socially vulnerable situations (loss of jobs, income, or financial support)
</li>
<li>Addressing urgent needs that cannot wait for long or bureaucratic processes
</li>
</ul>

</div>
<div><strong>How You Can Help</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Monetary donations</strong>
</div>
<div>The funds raised will be carefully used to respond to the needs identified on the ground.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>In-kind donations</strong>
</div>
<div>In addition to GoFundMe, we are organizing a structured system for in-kind donations, such as generators, construction materials, equipment, and other essential goods.
</div>
<div>This model allows companies and organizations to contribute by directly purchasing these items from trusted suppliers, ensuring concrete, effective support aligned with real needs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If your company or organization would like to support through in-kind donations or services, please contact us so we can coordinate
</div>
<div><br />

</div>
<div><strong>Transparency and Accountability</strong>
</div>
<div>This GoFundMe is led by Nic von Rupp, Matilde Reymão, Marta, Miguel, and João Kopke. All donations (monetary or in-kind) will be used exclusively for the purposes described above. To achieve this, we are working in direct partnership with the Portuguese association Just a Change (<a href="https://justachange.pt/en/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><a href="https://justachange.pt/en/" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://justachange.pt/en/</a></a>), whose primary mission is rebuilding homes for those in need. The funds raised will be transferred to my personal bank account (Nic Von Rupp), and I will be fully responsible for allocating and transferring those funds to cover the rebuilding of these homes, in close coordination and direct partnership with the Just a Change association. We are committed to sharing updates on how the funds and support are being used whenever possible, ensuring that help truly reaches those who need it most. With your help, we can restore dignity, safety, and hope to those who have lost almost everything.
