On Friday, August 31st, torrential rain of 8-10” in 3 hours time and flash flooding rampaged Lancaster County PA. Susan and Woody Boyer fell victim to the disaster when the flood waters destroyed the foundation of their home. Susan and Woody had built this home 55 years ago, raised their three boys, and shared a lifetime of memories. The home was declared unlivable and repairs are not covered by their insurance. They now must find emergency, temporary handicapped-accessible housing; and forge a plan to recover their home.
Susan and Woody are incredible people, both retired, and always have had their home open for friends and family. They are always available to help others. Susan is a very active health coach and has worked so hard to help others transform their lives though healthy living.
