Born to tea plucker parents, he worked his way from the fields to the factory floor, learning, innovating, and eventually creating some of Nepal’s finest handcrafted teas. Against all odds, he built his own factory—a place where tradition and artistry merged to produce truly remarkable teas. But now, just as the new tea season was about to begin, tragedy has struck.

<div>Sharad’s factory is more than just a workplace—it is the livelihood of 221 farmers and 35 workers who depend on it for their income and stability. The loss of this factory has rippled through an entire community, leaving them without a source of earnings just before the new harvest season.

<div>Nepal Tea Collective and the global tea community are coming together to help Sharad rebuild—not just a factory, but a legacy. Every contribution, big or small, will help him rise again, continue his craft, and sustain the livelihoods of those who depend on him.

<div> Every single dollar donated will be transferred from the Nepal Tea Foundation account to Sharad in Nepal and will be used as per his needs—first for his medical expenses and then for rebuilding the factory and supporting the farmers. Nepal Tea Foundation will also cover all transaction fees so that Sharad receives every single penny donated to this campaign.
