Help us repair and rebuild after damage caused by travellers
In August 2018 our grounds were occupied by a large group of travellers. They destroyed our security gates, left large amounts of rubbish which needs to be properly disposed of, broke into our clubhouse and storage units stealing and destroying equipment and club property as they went.
We will do what we can to cover losses through insurance but there will be lots that we cannot cover and improvements to security, cleaning up and dealing with this will cost thousands of pounds. It's a cost that a small, non-profit rugby club cannot bear.
We are a small community rugby club - if you think that community sport is important please help us.
We will itemise and publish the cost of everything that we buy or fix and any extra money will be donated to the Wooden Spoon charity
