On August 15th, a devastating flash flood struck the Swat and Buner regions, wiping out entire towns, shops, and homes. Families have lost everything in a matter of hours. Roads, bridges, and power grids have been destroyed — leaving tens of thousands without electricity, clean water, food, or even coffins to bury their loved ones.

This disaster has left communities stranded and vulnerable. With no power, it could take weeks before basic infrastructure is restored. Children, the elderly, and entire families are sleeping under the open sky with nothing to eat or drink.
