<div>We are the sons, daughters, and grandchildren of Jointwood, a collective of families living in Jamaica and abroad united to restore the homes, strength, and dignity of the people and community that raised us.

<div>Jointwood is our home no matter where in the world life has taken us. Nestled in Jamaica’s “Breadbasket,” the Parish of St. Elizabeth, Jointwood is a proud farming community that helps feed our nation. It is a place that teaches the value of family, unity, and looking out for one another. Today, <strong>our home needs the world to look out for us.</strong> Hurricane Melissa tore through Jointwood with devastating force. More than 100 homes have been damaged or destroyed. Families have lost roofs, food, clothing, and the smallest basics of survival. Many are without safe shelter, clean water, or electricity.

<div>We are the Jointwood Strong Relief Team, sons, daughters, and grandchildren of Jointwood, both in Jamaica and abroad, joining together to support the families and elders who raised us and the children who represent our future.
