<div>Education is more than books and classrooms. It is safety. It is dignity. It is opportunity.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Right now, St. George’s Primary and Infant School in Blackstonedge P.O., St. Ann, Jamaica is facing urgent challenges that threaten the learning environment of its students. According to a formal appeal issued by Principal Carnel Cox on February 9, 2026 , the school is experiencing serious infrastructural and operational difficulties, most critically severe roofing damage.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Sections of the roof have been blown off. The decking is compromised. These conditions do not just inconvenience learning. They create real safety risks for children and staff. When rain falls, classrooms are disrupted. When winds rise, uncertainty follows. No child should have to wonder whether their classroom ceiling is secure.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>But the need does not stop at the roof.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>The school urgently requires:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>• Repair and replacement of damaged roofing materials

</div>

<div>• Printing and photocopying equipment and supplies

</div>

<div>• A proper refrigerator for safe storage

</div>

<div>• Filing cabinets and cupboards for records and teaching materials

</div>

<div>• Furniture for the Computer Resource Room

</div>

<div>• Computers, monitors, keyboards, and accessories

</div>

<div>• Bookshelves and storage units

</div>

<div>• Classroom desks and chairs

</div>

<div>• Garbage bins for classrooms

</div>

<div>• Educational books and teaching aids

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>These are not luxuries. These are essentials.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Imagine a classroom without proper desks. A computer room without functioning computers. Teachers without basic printing resources. Students eager to learn but limited by circumstances beyond their control.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This campaign is about restoring stability and rebuilding opportunity.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Every donation, whether financial or in the form of equipment, furniture, or supplies, will directly improve the learning environment and daily operations of the school. Your contribution will help create safer classrooms, provide students with access to technology, and equip teachers with the tools they need to educate effectively.

</div>

<div>Education shapes futures. It breaks cycles. It builds communities.

</div>
