<div>Many of you may already know that Hurricane Melissa recently struck Jamaica, causing devastating damage across the western regions. The hardest-hit areas include parishes like St. Elizabeth and Westmoreland—places deeply close to my heart,as I once called them home and where my beloved grandmother still resides.

<div>Sadly, her house where she lovingly raised her nine children and built a lifetime of memories, was severely damaged by the storm. She is now facing deep grief and uncertainty as she tries to process the loss and figure out how to rebuild.
