Eleen's Salon, a beloved fixture in San Carlos, was devastated by a fire caused by someone's illegal fireworks on July 4, 2026. The smoke, fire, and heat destroyed nearly everything inside, leaving the building and all of our equipment, supplies, and inventory damaged beyond repair. While our landlord is working hard to rebuild the space, Eleen Chen and the team have had to temporarily relocate, renting chairs at another salon just to keep serving our loyal customers. The loss has been overwhelming, and we are now faced with the challenge of rebuilding, refurnishing, and restocking our salon from the ground up. 
 
Funds raised will go directly toward replacing essential items like mirrors, stylist stations, chairs, hair dryers, steamers, shampoo bowls, cabinets, towels, and customer capes. We also need to replenish our inventory of hair products for shampooing, conditioning, coloring, highlighting, and perming, which were all damaged by heat and smoke. Beyond the basics, we must restore the welcoming atmosphere our customers love by replacing signs, decorations, TVs, and the cash register and credit card machines. Every contribution will help us bring Eleen's Salon back to life, so we can continue to serve the San Carlos community with care and pride. 
 
We are proud and never imagined asking for help, but our insurance was minimal and outdated. It was our wonderful customers who encouraged us to start this fundraiser, saying they wanted to support us in rebuilding. Any help you can offer means the world to us and will make a real difference in restoring Eleen's Salon for everyone who calls it home. Thank you for standing with us during this difficult time.
