<div>On the afternoon of 14th July, our beloved aunty's life changed in an instant when a devastating fire destroyed her home. Thanks to the quick actions of a kind neighbour, she and her beloved dog were safely rescued, but sadly they escaped with nothing more than the clothes she was wearing.

<div>The fire completely destroyed her home and everything she owned. She is currently being temporarily housed in a hotel by the local authority while she begins to navigate the long road ahead.

<div>The cause of the fire is still under investigation, although the fire service believes it may have originated in the back yard, potentially caused by the sun.
</div>

<div>Heartbreakingly, she did not have contents insurance, meaning she has lost all of her belongings with no financial safety net to help her start over.
