Help rebuild a homeless Veteran's van

Donation protected
John is a 70 year old disabled Army veteran who's found himself homeless in the later part of his life, and has been living in his van for quite a few years. Through the help of the Central Oregon Veterans Outreach association, he has gotten setup with housing assistance in a tiny home development, and has got his disability setup with the VA. But unfortunately last summer the tired engine in his van finally gave up. I towed it down out of the mountains where it's been stranded for the last 6 months, and after spending half a day with John as seen in the video linked below, I decided that I want to do something more. At this point transportation is his biggest problem, so I'm going to get the engine in his van rebuilt, fix the electrical issues, and freshen up whatever else we find wrong along the way, so that when he gets his van back it is a turn key reliable vehicle that he can start up and take wherever he needs. Once the repairs are completed, any leftover money will be donated to COVO, as John doesn't want any money himself, and wants the help out the organization that helped him, so that it can I'm turn help out even more veterans get the assistance that they need and deserve. We will be working with Elite Fleet Automotive in Bend Oregon for this project, and of course we will be filming and posting the repairs for everyone to follow along. Any and all donations to this project are appreciated more than I could ever express to you, and all I can say from the bottom of my heart, is thank you.
