Help Hilda Reyes Rebuild (Maria)

Enid Reyes, who lives in Rockwall, said her 80-year-old mother and her two sisters took shelter from Maria at their home near San Juan. Reyes said she was able to communicate with one of her sisters via text messages, but the messages didn't have many details.

"She keeps sending me one-liners," Reyes said Wednesday. "My sister sent, 'I lost my house.' I don't know if it's the roof that's gone. They can't send photos."
On Thursday, though, Reyes received an update. She said that she was able to reach a friend in Puerto Rico by phone who told her that her family was safe, but confirmed the family's house was severely damaged.
Reyes said she plans to travel to Puerto Rico as soon as she can to assess the damage done to her mother's home where her two sisters also live. She said her family did not have insurance, so she hopes to come up with a financial plan to help them rebuild.
"I feel very stressed," she said. "When you're far away you feel powerless."

After this article, I have heard from my sisters. Their home suffered severe foundation damage, lost parts of the roofs; and, due to flooding, have lost much of the home content such as mattresses, furniture, etc.
My goal is to secure the home from further flooding, looters and purchase items needed immediately.
