<div>Our baby girl Rebecca was born with grade 4 hydrocephalus, the most severe and life-threatening form of this condition. Since birth, she has been fighting for her life with more strength and courage than we ever imagined possible.

<div>In her first 5 months of life, Rebecca:

<div>went through 6 surgeries,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>received 11 blood transfusions,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>survived a respiratory arrest,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>and battled multiple infections that nearly took her from us.
</div>

</div>
<div>Today, Rebecca is 15 months old (13 months corrected), but she cannot do the things most children her age can.
</div>
<div>She cannot sit, cannot eat normally, and is fed through a PEG tube. She has severe developmental delays and needs ongoing intensive therapies.
</div>

</div>
<div>Because the state cannot provide as much therapy as she surgently requires, we entirely on private therapies just to give her a chance to progress. Every tiny improvement she makes is a miracle to us.
</div>

<div>Our biggest hope is to take Rebecca to Mexico for a treatment called Cytonix, a one-month program that may significantly improve her quality of life. But the cost is far beyond what our family can afford.

<div>Fetița noastră, Rebecca, s-a născut cu hidrocefalie gradul 4, cea mai severă și mai amenințătoare formă a acestei afecțiuni. Încă de la naștere, luptă pentru viața ei cu mai multă forță și curaj decât ne-am fi putut imagina vreodată.

<div>Pentru că statul nu poate oferi atât de multă terapie cât are ea urgent nevoie, depindem în totalitate de terapiile private, doar pentru a-i oferi o șansă reală de progres. Fiecare mică îmbunătățire pe care o face este un miracol pentru noi.

<div>Cea mai mare speranță a noastră este să o ducem pe Rebecca în Mexic pentru un tratament numit Cytonix, un program de o lună care i-ar putea îmbunătăți semnificativ calitatea vieții. Dar costurile sunt mult peste ceea ce familia noastră își poate permite.
