<div>Many of us know Ray as that hard working guy always with a grin on his face. He has a beautiful wife and family who are all very active and on the go. Each of their children participate in community work with their local Scouts chapter. On July 16th Ray went into the ER with trouble from a hernia. Upon examination a large tumor was found fused to his thoracic spine. It was soon found to be a giant cell tumor, that while not cancerous, is aggressive and had already taken most of his T9 disc and surrounded his aorta. Ray was able to get the hernia repaired and once recovered received surgery to stabilize his spine. He has since also received a stent to protect his aorta. Ray has begun treatment in an attempt to shrink the tumor but his doctors have also suggested he get a second opinion at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He will be traveling there in December with his wife, Lindy. This is the kind of thing crowd funding is for. Let's assist Ray and his family for mounting medical bills and travel expenses. There are few families more deserving in a hand up as they've provided to others many times before.
