Rashad Jackson, my son's friend, and his family have been part of our lives for 18 years. Over the weekend, they experienced a devastating apartment fire at the Grand on Julian Rd in Salisbury, losing everything they owned. Rashad, his partner, and their two young boys are now facing the unimaginable challenge of starting over, with another child on the way. The loss has left them without basic essentials, and they are currently staying in a motel while they try to rebuild their lives.
