URGENT RESCUE UNDERWAY!
Two weeks ago we were contacted about saving these two artic cross wolfdogs who were seized from their owner. A judge has ruled in favor of allowing us to give them a permanent safe home at Roam.
Meet Rah (male 1yo) and Tecate (female 2yo). They are currently in Arizona at the Humane Society where they have been for the past 3 weeks waiting for a court decision and are now waiting for transport services to bring them here this weekend.
We urgently need to give them a safe place to thrive and live out their lives.
So here we go again…PLEASE HELP US BUILD THIS NEW SAFE HAVEN FOR RAH and TECATE and “FUND A FOOT OF FENCE” for just $10.95 a foot.
Starting immediately, our project will require 1,740 linear feet of 8-foot-high fencing, supported by 10-foot, 6-inch round posts, and a 4-foot dig guard perimeter. We'll also need vet care, including spay/neuter of both animals, 3 custom gates, a water tank, a stock tank swimming pool, an A-frame shelter, a double-entry lockout area, and additional labor to expedite construction.
The total cost is $23,029.88 of which we've already contributed $3,985.00 from our personal account, leaving $19,044.88 still to raise, a significant but necessary investment.
**HOW YOU CAN HELP**
For only $10.95 you can fund one foot of fencing! We have one month to reach our goal as poles, fencing, dig guard, gates, and lumber have been ordered (before tariff prices go any higher).
Once again, we are partnering with @H5FencingandDirtwork who do remarkable, reliable work and provide us with the best containments we could ask for.
Your contribution will directly impact the lives of Rah and Tacate. While fencing may not seem glamorous, it plays an essential role in creating a safe and enriching environment for our wolfdogs, and that *IS* exciting!
We’ll keep you updated on their arrival to Roam, as well as the financial and construction progress. Just follow us on our social media pages: Facebook and Instagram. Thank you to everyone who supports animal rescue and sanctuaries.
Please consider donating as every foot counts.
