Help Rae-Lynn build her home salon

Just about 10 years ago, my best friend and now wife graduated from Toni&Guy Hair Academy to pursue her dream job as a cosmetologist. Rae-Lynn’s efforts to intern and earn an established position and chair at a great salon had to be cut short and placed on hold to help with our family needs and our transition out of the Southern California area and have sadly remained shelved ever since.

Following our move to Nevada, she has been working in the customer support and account management industry full-time preventing her from being able to re-focus on her dream career working with people to help them look and feel better.

Her passion as a cosmetologist has always been focused on cut and color which she is incredible at, however, her skill set is not limited as she is mastered with all types of extension applications and much more. Her artistic ability to connect with clients and help them achieve the best look is amazing to watch and my wish is to help her transition back into this dream career.

All that said, we now have a new family member on the way, and the need for her to have a flexible way to work, follow her career path and be a new mother has presented us with the opportunity to explore a home salon space suitable for limited client appointments keeping her close at hand for family responsibilities.

With everything going on this year, finances have been very tight as well as our transition to a single income household, I felt it necessary to appeal to friends, family, and even potential new friends that can understand the pursuit of dreams, passions, and the achievement of goals. I know that together anything is possible and that all of us deserve to be blessed, and this is Rae-Lynn’s time.

I have been working to organize all of the equipment and odds and ends that she will need to be successful with a new chance at things, and I have itemized what is needed to set up her home salon space while being budget savvy and also considering the quality of equipment we will need just about $5,000 to accomplish everything.

I know this year has not been easy for many and with the holidays upon us, this request for assistance may sound inopportune, but I assure you that with all sincerity, this is a genuine opportunity for all of us to help a very deserving individual, friend, sister, daughter, cousin, ant, wife, and mother help others with her talents.
