My name is Raed Khodary, a father of five — two sons and three daughters. Like countless others, my family and I were forced to flee our home in Gaza due to the ongoing war. We are now displaced in the southern Gaza Strip, living in extremely difficult conditions.

We have no home. We now live in a makeshift shelter — a fragile tent made of nylon — offering little protection from the heat, cold, or rain.

My children have been completely cut off from education, clean drinking water, and proper nutrition. They no longer have access to school, safety, or even the basic joys of childhood. Every day is a struggle just to survive.
