Help Rae after a fire destroyed her home

Help the lovely Rae after a fire destroyed her home & all of her possessions!

This fundraiser, created by the Thinkingbox team, is to provide financial aid to the wonderful Rae after a fire destroyed her home last Friday evening, losing not only her home, but many of her belongings.

The accident happened in the evening last Friday November 5, in a Strathcona neighbourhood duplex (Rae’s home). The fire was reported to authorities around 9:25 p.m. in a wood-frame townhouse duplex near the corner of Keefer Street and Hawks Avenue. The fire took four hours to extinguish. All of Rae’s belongings were either burnt, soaked in water, or covered in ashes, most of which can never be recovered. We would love to raise a small amount of funds to help Rae in the coming days and weeks to ease the financial and emotional burden. All proceeds will go directly to Rae for her to use as she deems appropriately while rebuilding her life.
