Help Rachel Hear

Hello, my name is Rachel. I am 29 years old, I have severe binaural hearing loss. I love to bake,spend time with my family, get lots of hugs from my niece and nephew, go camping with my friends, cuddle with my two cats, Binx and Winnie. I love to have a simple life in Medina, Ohio. 

I have suffered from hearing loss since I was two years old. I have a severe hearing loss and I without hearing aids, I suffer in leading a semi-normal life. I rely on hearing aids to socialize, complete day to day tasks, have confidence, and to work independently. 

Without the help of hearing aids, many people experience social withdrawal, depression, drop in self esteem and much more. 

My whole life I have struggled with friendships, education, personal/work relationships, careers, and missed out on life experiences. 

This past summer I had to purchase my fourth pair of hearing aids in my lifetime. Hearing Aids are shockingly expensive! I live independently and there is no help with hearing devices or instruments. Even with health insurance! 

I have created this fundraiser in hopes to receive help to pay off the remainder of my loan and, any emergency repairs, batteries, and new receivers as they wear down.
