<div>Rachel was recently diagnosed with a rare congenital heart condition called Anomalous Coronary Artery (ACA). After months of testing, advocacy, and referrals, she now has a surgery date: August 29th. She’ll be undergoing open heart surgery to correct the issue and give her the chance to live a long, healthy life.

<div>This is a major operation with a recovery period of at least 8–12 weeks, during which she’ll be unable to work. As a hairstylist, this means no income while still facing rent, bills, and medical-related expenses.
