Help Rachel Fight Lymphoma

News of Rachel's lymphoma diagnosis was just devastating for our entire family.  Rachel is my niece through marriage to my nephew Tim.  We want to raise funds to help them pay bills  so that they can be together as much as possible through this very trying time.  
Here is her story....
As some of you may already know, but for those of you we have yet to connect with we wanted to share some recent circumstances that have changed our lives forever! A few weeks ago Tim and my world was rocked to the core. After giving birth to Kendrick I had a few health issues that we were under the impression was a simple thyroid issue. Unfortunately, after several specialist appointments and a trip down to Iowa City. It was confirmed that I have lymphoma cancer. These last two weeks have been a time of shock and sadness as we have been processing the news ourselves as well as with our loved ones! Personally, we have been able to examine our faith and have come to the raw realization that our faith is in Jesus Christ not in anything else. When this all began I feel God told me to journal and keep record of all that is happening to my family and I. Because of this I have started a blog to document this journey and all that the Lord has and will do through this season of life. I do not plan to update very often on facebook. My Blog 'In His Hands' will be our primary form of communication to ensure everyone is being notified together and with correct information coming directly from Tim and I. Please note it is at this time a few days behind due to the fact I began writing from Day 1! My hope and prayer through all this is that Jesus be glorified through this entire ordeal and even if one person can be saved by my family's testimony it will be worth it!!!!!
