My dear friends Rachel Robb Kondrath and Chris Hill tragically lost their home in the devastating Los Angeles Eaton wildfire in the early hours of the morning of Jan 8, 2025. I'm raising money to help them through this very challenging time. Rachel and Chris had recently returned from their honeymoon when the fire destroyed their beloved home. Rachel has been active in her Altadena & Pasadena communities, with volunteer work that includes supporting the local libraries, assisting home gardeners and community gardens, civic organizing, teaching neighbors how to use power tools, and designing graphics for Altadena nonprofits. Chris helps friends and neighbors by donating his car repair and electronics repair skills, and cooking for community potlucks. They are committed to helping their fellow Altadenans rise from the ashes.

Any donation amount will help support Rachel and Chris recover and contribute to a vibrant future for their beloved Altadena community. These funds will assist with needs that are not covered by other sources of aid. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this post helps just as much! Thank you for all your support!
