Help Rachael with Candie's Final Expenses

My oldest daughter Rachael Dunn had to put her 14 year old sweet dog Candie to sleep on Christmas Eve. Candie had a very large tumor on her abdomen that was protruding through the skin. This caused her to be in excruciating pain that kept her from being able to do anything she once enjoyed.

She was under a vets care and on Christmas Eve after having a terrible night, Racheal called the vet who said to bring her in. She said there was nothing else that could be done.

Racheal loaded Candie and Bear her little Chihuahua in the car and first stopped at Starbucks to get Candie one last puppychino. She loved those so much! Her and Bear would get so impatient waiting for their puppy coffees lol

After Starbucks Rachael took them to the dog park. To her great surprise Candie was running and playing like she used to before the tumor. It was like Candie knew it was her last time at the park, her last time to play with her little friend Bear while her wonderful Mom watched.

When Candie began to show signs of pain Rachael put the dogs in the car and drove to the vets office. The vets staff were amazing and allowed Bear to go in a private room with Candie and Rachael. She had brought along Candies favorite blanket which she spread out on the floor and the 3 of them laid down on it.

The staff came in every once in awhile to see if Rachael was ready for the vet to come in with the medication. After awhile Rachael indicated she wasn't ready but that she knew she never would be. The vet administered the medication and allowed Rachael and Bear to continue laying by her side.

The pure and unbreakable bond that the 3 of them had for each other along with the love and devotion they shared had to have been absolutely palpable. As Candie drew her last breath as an earthly creature, Rachael held her paw and Bear laid her head on Candie. They said their goodbyes in the most beautiful ways.

Candie will be cremated next week and Rachael wants her ashes returned to her. The total for the last vet visit, the cremation and return of her ashes comes to around 388.00 that has to be paid when her ashes are ready to be picked up.

Rachael has disability but such an unexpected expense has made it hard to come up with the money. Every little bit helps. Thank you all and Happy New Years.
