Help Quillie - SEVERE HEAD TRAUMA

In a tragic accident on Tuesday November 21, 2017 while on a surf trip to Costa Rica, Quillie suffered a severe head injury resulting in a fractured skull and internal bleeding. Quillie had to be transferred to multiple hospitals and care centers within Costa Rica, and most recently was air lifted to San Jose where he underwent a procedure performed by a neurosurgeon and is currently in critical but stable condition. 


Quillie does not have medical insurance to cover these costs. Treatment in Costa Rica comes at a price, especially when neurology is involved. He has already incurred considerable costs from the treatment, which are now amounting to more than any individual’s personal means. We need to come together to ensure Quillie receives the best medical attention possible, and gets home safely and quickly.


Each of you who is reading this has had the pleasure of knowing Quillie and being around his charismatic personality. Quillie and his family are under the pressure of massive medical bills from multiple hospitals, doctors and treatment. Quillie’s family, friends and future baby girl are asking for your help to ensure he gets the best treatment possible.


This will be a long road to recovery. In addition to the current treatment and expenses he is receiving, we also need to plan ahead and ensure we have the coverage for ongoing medical expenses and rehabilitation.
