<div><strong>Bring lovely new songs into the world!</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Our nation needs uplifting stories that spring from our deepest common ground. With moving scenes and a lovely score, the brand-new stage musical <strong>SOMEWHERE BETWEEN</strong> uncovers understanding among divided neighbors in a small US town.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>The vital next step in SOMEWHERE BETWEEN’s development journey is to create band arrangements and demos of the show’s 23 fresh pop-jazz songs by Alan Becker. Once the arrangements and demos are done, we can plan a regional premiere.

<div>Your tax-deductible* gift to this Insight America Theater fundraiser will be directly used to:

</div>

<div>• pay the orchestrator to chart band arrangements that serve both in the studio and for future live performances

</div>

<div>• pay singers and musicians to record the demos

</div>

<div>• rent studio recording time

</div>

</div>

<div>Every dollar will be well spent. The professional singers, musicians, and orchestrator are accepting significantly reduced fees because they are exhilarated to work on this promising new show. We’re delighted by their studio work so far – listen to the attached song!

</div>

<div>SOMEWHERE BETWEEN brings alive the intertwined stories of regular folks with no easy answers in life. They fight, fall in love, and face their fears to find their own trail and dodge the path family and friends try to put them on.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>SOMEWHERE BETWEEN earned selection as one of six world finalists at the MUT International Composer Competition in Munich, and a German language premiere is now on the horizon. The show met an enthusiastic reception at Los Angeles readings and the Florida Festival of New Musicals, and is invited to be produced by a New York company with a dozen Off-Broadway shows to their credit. Two talented Broadway directors helped streamline the script and songs, so our next step after these orchestrations will be a test production, hopefully in Seattle, before New York and Europe.

<div><strong>Donate now, and you’ll be the first to know when it’s time to come see the premiere – and then you’ll have the additional opportunity to help fund the live production!</strong>
