<div>I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for our sweet dog, Pumpkin. Yesterday, she was suddenly attacked by a much larger dog, an American Bully. It all happened so fast. We rushed her to urgent care, and though she’s fighting through her wounds with incredible strength, she now needs surgery to fully recover.

<div>Her doctors are hopeful, and we have complete faith that she’ll pull through — she’s always been such a little fighter. But the reality is, the medical bills are far beyond what we can afford right now. Like many families, we’ve been barely getting by financially, and this unexpected emergency has hit us really hard.

<div>I never considered myself a “dog person” until Pumpkin came into our lives eight years ago — but she changed everything. Over time, she became our little shadow, my passenger princess on coffee runs, my emotional support when life got heavy, especially this past year. She lights up for her puppuccinos (“pup cup”) at the drive-thru and has brought so much joy to our lives. I truly can’t imagine life without her.
