When Rocco was diagnosed with autism 11 years ago I frantically searched for a book that would help me, his mom, wrap my mind around the fact that our lives would never be the same. Shelves were loaded with books about detox diets and therapies to help my child, but there was no guide book to assist me in surviving this traumatic event in my life.
Thankfully, I was committed to my own well-being and found a way to thrive.
10 years later, there was STILL no guidebook for autism parents in existence. So, I wrote one myself and now I’m ready to show countless parents who are suffering that they can thrive instead of letting stereotypes define them.
In addition to writing a powerful book that all autism parents can relate to and learn from, I’ve also had a phenomenal editor finalize the manuscript, and now I’m here to humbly ask for your help in raising the funds to publish this much needed book so it can help the millions of families (1 in 34) that are struggling to stay afloat amidst the challenges autism has thrown their way.
