Help Prosper’s Fishing Cowboy

Donation protected
Blake is a 33 year old who had a very bad car accident when he was 16 and suffered an extremely serious traumatic brain injury that has left him handicapped for the greater part of his life.

He walks around a lot and loves to go fishing at a few spots in Prosper where he lives. People in prosper have come to call him the Fishing Cowboy.

Unfortunately there is a train track that blocks one of his fishing spots and there was a train stopped for a long time blocking him. He got impatient and climbed under it so he could keep going. When he was almost out from under it, the train started moving, severing his foot.

He was airlifted to Plano Presbyterian hospital where they had to amputate his leg just under his right knee. He has had problems with his legs from his previous accident when he was 16 and his right leg is his “good” leg so he’s going to have a long road of rehab, recovery and adjustments to his new life.

Please consider helping Blake’s parents renovate their home to accommodate Blake’s new wheelchair needs until he is able to get a prosthetic.

Let’s help get Blake “Fishing Cowboy” Ostrander back on his “Feet” and back to fishing!
