Help Priyanka with her medical expenses

Donation protected
Priyanka Walhe was on her way home to Castleglen NE on 13th July, around 10:30 PM, when an off-leash dog (Pitbull) charged towards her. The dog bit and ripped her arm and held on to it for over 5 mins as he dragged her around, kept her pinned to the ground. As she screamed for help, neighbors rushed in, tried to get her hand out of the dog's jaws and called 911.

Emergency services arrived and she was rushed to hospital as her wounds bled causing immense pain. Her ordeal had just begun. She underwent 2 surgeries with over 75 stiches on her arm. The most painful part is that she has suffered disability on her thumb and little finger. It’s a long road to recovery with lots of Physiotherapy and trauma counselling needed.

She’s been in Canada for less than 6 months as an international student, all by herself without any relatives. While her immediate treatment was covered by AHS; the ambulance, pharmacy and all other upcoming treatments like physio/counselling will be at her own cost as the dog owner have not had the courage to step forward and provide her much needed support.

This fundraiser will help us get Priyanka’s life back to normal. Any donations you can do will make a difference, are welcome and accepted with love and gratitude. Thank you all for your continued support, it means the World to Priyanka!
