Help Prince Acquah's Mom Battle Brain Tumor

I'm launching this fundraiser on behalf of my friend and seminary classmate, Prince Acquah; below are his words.

I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help during an incredibly difficult time. My mother, who lives in Ghana, has recently been diagnosed with a severe brain tumor measuring 4.88 cm x 4.20 cm x 5.83 cm. The tumor has already caused her to lose her vision and is significantly affecting her cognitive and physical abilities. She is needing life-saving surgery as soon as possible.

The doctors have recommended that she undergo two urgent surgeries to remove the tumor. The total cost for both procedures is $11,000. Thankfully, my church here in New York community has contributed $6,000 toward this amount, but we still need to raise the remaining to proceed. (The total asked will cover the remaining surgery costs and other expenses for aftercare.)

The doctors have warned that any delay could lead to permanent disability or even loss of life. We are praying to have the surgeries completed by the end of this month.

My mom is a fighter. She has battled glaucoma for years — a condition we've now learned was caused by this tumor. She needs your help now more than ever.
