<div>Baseball Field, also known as the "Baseball Capitol Of South Dakota".

<div>Built in 1921, Renner Ball Park has been a cornerstone of our

<div>community, hosting games that were once played on local farms. In
</div>
<div>2006, the field was rightfully placed on the National Register of Historic
</div>
<div>Places for its significant contributions to South Dakota baseball. As one
</div>
<div>of the oldest still-functioning baseball fields in the United States, it
</div>
<div>holds a special place in our state's sporting heritage. The Renner
</div>
<div>Monarchs first clinched the state championship here in 1939 and have
</div>
<div>since brought the title back to Renner 23 times, most recently in 2024.
</div>
<div>In addition to the Monarchs success, Post 307 has brought back the
</div>
<div>Legion state title 3 out of the last 6 years! Averaging 140-150 games
</div>
<div>per season and hosting 5 teams from April through September, the field
</div>
<div>is a hub of activity and community pride. Moreover, a new concession
</div>
<div>stand and bathroom project will be functional for the upcoming 2025
</div>
<div>season.

<div>To enhance the playing environment, the Renner Baseball Field, home
</div>
<div>of the Renner Monarchs and Post 307, requires significant upgrades.
</div>
<div>Currently, seven of the field's 30 lights are out, and due to their age,
</div>
<div>replacement bulbs are no longer available. Given the high volume of
</div>
<div>games played each season, Post 307 and the Renner Monarchs are
</div>
<div>collaborating to raise funds to improve this historic ballpark.
</div>
