Cyndi Christenson is a long time Port Aransas resident, a grandma, a substitute teacher at PAISD Schools, volunteer and PTO president.
She is trying to help with the rebuild effort of her community and schools in Port Aransas, so please contribute what you can.
ALL funds will go directly to the PTO of Port Aransas. A lot of the funds will go towards new books for elementary and middle schoolers as their libraries will be not be usable until after the new year. We willidentify other needs that the principals of each school encounters as the kids get back in school. Port Aransas Schools will reopen on October 16 using portable buildings.
Some of our students have lost everything due to Hurricane Harvey. Some of these funds will also help these youngsters with coats in the winter or new shoes. Tangible items that they lost in their homes. Our goal is to create as much normalcy as possible for all our youngsters. These funds will go a long way to establishing that goal.
